Valentine's Day Heart Wreath
This wreath is a beautiful display and perfect for Valentine's Day craft. It is a very inexpensive DIY, although it can be a bit time consuming.
What you need:
Cardboard
Glue gun
Ribbon
Tissue paper
Scissors
Pencil
Cup ( optional )
X-ACTO knife ( optional )
Directions:
1. Draw a heart shape on a piece of cardboard and cut it out. This is really fun to play with. Be creative! Cut the middle out or leave it in and write a message.
2. Next, draw a circle on the tissue paper, keep the paper folded so multiple circles are cut out at a time ( I traced a cup to make a perfect circle ). Cut out the circles. ( I cut circles as I went along because depending on the size of the heart you may need more or less )
3. For each piece of circle tissue pinch the center, twist and push in the sides. Then put dots of glue on the cardboard. Place the center of the tissue on the glue dot. Continue until the heart is filled. ( I feel the closer the tissue paper is together the better it looks, which is the time consuming part!)
4. Poke a hole on the top with your scissors and place the ribbon through. Now your ready to hang it up!
